Gravity is not subject to interpersonal objectivity. Nor are tsunamis, tornados, fires, etc. So there are facts outside of perception whether the perceiver is there or not. Ontological approaches to understanding those realities involve metaphysics, theology and fancy reductionist philosophies.
VR is a simulated reality. Some reproductions are better than others. Early stage development tells us locomotion and immersive experiences are possible but not comfortable for everyone. There are tons of things that can happen in VR outside of games: complex situational training, mechanical design, practical design, practical mechanical training, etc. Itâ(TM)s the quality of these early experiences that might not be compelling.
