Took the leap from 2.4.29 to 2.6.10 with the 10.1 beta 1 release. Migration was flawless, and everything worked first time, including udev and alsa which i invisaged might be a problem, but weren't!

2.6 will be incorporated into slackware 11... aswell as the -current changelog, Patrick stated this in a recent visit to ##slackware @ irc.freenode.net, among other things. A full log of his, apparently first visit to a slackware IRC channel, in the in topic of the channel.

Last day of college today. Franticaly handed 3 well overdue assignments in and was in the pub by 11.45am =)
