Deneba did the right thing with install path !! (Score 1)

I'm sick and tired of having to see virtually all application programs for Linux be packaged for installation in /usr as opposed to /usr/local or /opt. Most of them are not relocatable so that unless I can get my hands on source rpm (equivalents for deb), I can't get them installed in /usr/local or /opt. Therefore, I'm very glad to find Deneba packaged Canvas7 beta for Linux to be installed in /usr/local. Every application should follow Deneba in this respect unless they think of their programs as essential parts of Linux OS.
