The EU imagining that more government interference is going to get them anywhere except the stagnant direction of France and Italy.
Do politicians willfully ignore 200 years of economic data or is a better life for EU citizens just not on the agenda? Open markets have been shown, and are shown as the only way for improving everyones lot in the long term, not this intervention and protectionism.
