Setting the charge limit to 80% has worked out well so far. Unlike the author I have “cheated” a few times and increased the limit to 100% when travelling.

Similarly, my Tesla Model 3 from Jan 2018 with ~65k miles / ~104k km has lost 6% over 6 years with a charge limit of 75% (except road trips).
