Journal: Mozilla Thunderbird 2 alpha released

The first alpha version of Mozilla Thunderbird 2 has been released! The new features are quoted as being

• Message Tags
• Folder Views including favorite folders
• Improved New Mail Notification Alerts
• Find As You Type in the message pane
• New combined and improved Add-ons manager for extensions and themes

It is still a work in progress, and more features are still expected to be added.
