what's up Boopus. you live with my girlfriend. this isn't Chris. guess that narrows it down :-)
anyways, we have a small farm using Citrix Metaframe XP here and once you get used to it and get your security in place, it works great. much better than 50 or 60 people running amuck with local windows machines. plus it is the best remote access solution out there. just have to be able to afford it.
we acutally opted to go with low-power dell celeron boxes instead of thin clients -- one for flexibility (can be turned into a decent desktop, and we do allow a certain amount of local browsing for flash and video stuff which doesn't stream well) and two for licensing -- if you're running win2k pro on your clients you don't have to worry about the neverending saga of dealing with terminal server licensing, what a pain in the ass.
will reconsider when the XP embedded thin clients come out, assuming the local browsing is sufficient.
