I usually use md5 to generate my passwd. $ echo "aword/sentece" | md5sum | cut -c 10 # -c 10 get me first 10 char. So every time I need it i get it with the same command, guess what if you know you that this will not be save in my history, if you notice there is a space in the command to not save this command in my history.
