I worked with a PLC guy who appeared to have invented chatgpt back in 2017. He was doing a demo for a customer on a machine the company was building and he, without batting an eyelash, opens notepad and types "start demo" and magically the computer takes off and launches the Allen Bradley PLC software, opens up a config menu, and starts the machine up. Someone goes "what the fuck?" And grabs the laptop from him, only to discover a teamviewer session with a guy in Romania who actually did all the work. Needless to say, the guy in the office was canned. Good riddance, too because he'd bring all of these damn "family members" in to the office and they'd eat all of our very limited free snacks.
