Most of them just dump it into ChatGPT and call it a day. I donâ(TM)t. I try to do as much by hand as possible. Maybe, for once, my age will be to my benefit.

For me, AM on mediumwave (the 530-1710 kHz part of the band), it's really useful in rural areas in America to provide news coverage during an emergency because it covers a much larger area than FM. The two AM stations closer to the earthquake just broadcast sports and music but not any news.

I went back to school recently to finish my education. When I left, my local community college was starting to use this âoeserviceâ to check for plagiarism. This is my second semester back. My current writing assignment requires me to use it to check if my assignment is exactly 20% similar to other sourcesâ"and not to detect cheating but to stymie originality. Itâ(TM)s absolutely bonkers. OTOH, if weâ(TM)re caught using AI, a student automatically fail. I canâ(TM)t even use outside resources from places outside of a designated database. What if I wanted to dig through the card catalog at the library to find and cite something? Itâ(TM)s messed up.

So, what about those who are disabled and trying to make their lives better? I am currently going to a local community college to finish my education. But, because the college is on a hill, I must take most of those classes online since I cannot drive. The public transit where I live does not run at night and everyone else, I know works. The ACP means I can get a better Internet connection and one more appropriate for my needs if I need Zoom to communicate with tutors and professors. It is one of my few tickets out of a tough situation because I am intelligent but that's because I'm fortunate. Yet where I live, someone either needs a vehicle and good social skills, or a technical degree to make money. But, right now, I am on the dole and it's not someplace I want to be.

Or, as shadowwynd pointed out, all medical facilities now use portals that are online. Also, banking, managing Social Security benefits, etc. are also mostly done online these days. If you're disabled and poor, it becomes a necessity because of modernization.

Considering the stuttering mess thatâ(TM)s PulseAudio, I highly doubt he can even hear a sirenâ(TM)s call and I suspect the majority of us donâ(TM)t want him. And yes, I had to deal with PulseAudio earlier. That mess should have been a sign of his ability to break things.
