Can you please point out some of those languages, those "eal garbage collecting language has zero allocation routines and zero freeing routines, and will reclaim every single object eventually, and do this faster than manual alloc/free"?
I would move to GitLab either from gitlab.com or installing my own instance.
Actually I would rather trust gitlab.com and use their services as I may want to subscribe

Look at HTTP servers: they are deprecating the three major web servers.
I may be wrong but Apple is just saying "don't use our servers anymore with anything else that our software".
Or they may just have raised a white flag.
All the version of Lenovo websites I tried (Italy, UK, USA) does NOT show any laptop with Linux. So that's the end of the story.
DON'T buy anything that does not support linux out of the box. Please support Linux supporting firms.
You may want to have a look at Acer Extensa EX2519, here it prices at 276€ tax included.... Could be around 200USD for you
I know that Acer has a bad karma, but they DO support Linux.
Buy anything that has linux preinstalled. Even if it cost MORE than the windows counterpart.
Let's show we're actually using Linux and NOT windows, please!
I may have missed something but isn't a target TDP of 6.5-12 watts a little too much for IOT?
I often read about ARM based boards with TDP on 0,9-2 watts.
Ok those Atoms may be most probably far powerful, but their TDP still looks like a little too high.
That's a BAD idea for several reasons:
1 - too much load on archive.org
2 - loss of privacy
3 - most users may want to know if an URL/page does not exist anymore
