I use a variant of that one, called AltGr International. It's the same layout, but without the dead keys. So you get the behaviour of a pure US layout, which is good for programming, and also the ability to produce diacritics just by pressing AltGr + <some key>.
So, I see your ß and also your æøåÆØÅ
