Whiner! I used to spend 3 days compiling GCC for SCO UNIX on a 486 66 MHz DX/2. And GCC took 3 passes to compile. BTW, this box was also my workstation so I'd start the compiles on Friday afternoon and they usually finished around lunchtime on Monday.
And if I had a compile error? Come back next week and try again!
All this because my boss wouldn't shell out a thousand bucks for the SCO Dev Sys.
BTW, these were the good old days when SCO was just a nobody in the OS business, not pure EVIL!
