I really want to like Bernie, but I'm to old to trust any politician from either party. He'll need 7 Elons and blind faith before I'd entertain this lighthearted idea. Even then, why do I feel like this is a bad idea? AI is here. It's not going away. I'd love to see the bubble pop so I can buy some ram. Killing nerds for memory isn't a good way of living.

It's not about trust. It was about 4 years of rage. Most conservatives would have preferred any Republican but him. He's damaged goods, but he had the support to lock out everyone else. It was him or Biden, democrats wouldn't read the room so they lost. I'm looking forward to seeing both sides seethe and scream in the next election.

It's not about blocking anything on phones. It's about control. It's nearly impossible to do what they ask. As such, they can punish you into oblivion. This mean your company will give them whatever they ask, or bad things will happen. UK is an Orwellian nightmare right now. They don't even care the kids in RL, but online is so very important.

At this point, it's just genocide. Russians attack everything civilian. NATO could end this, but I guess they fear it will turn into a real war with nukes. I'm not happy with Trumps attitude with this situation.I get that there will be problems if Russia falls apart. This indecisiveness is killing people.

I recall Occupy Wall Street getting bigger and bigger back in the day. Suddenly, it dissipated in a single month without a word. Just as suddenly, DEI terminology showed up and exploded at every university, news organization, media company and HR department soon after. I always had the feeling that Wall Street decided we needed a sudden culture war to distract us. The West became a PvP server.
