I'm the guy that runs these campaigns. Yes, we do love running them. We have everything almost locked down to the point we don't fear compromised accounts like we use to. We geolock out most of the planet. We have high level of security. We do yearly security tests. We monitor everything we can while we watch other organizations get compromised all of the time. I'm not bragging, we live in constant terror. It's users clicking stupid things/phishing we can't counter very well. We have constant attacks on our org. They'll pretend to be your vendors/customers/your boss. Many phishing attacks look so legit that I'm shocked at the quality and how they customize them for specific users. The attackers carefully research their victims. Training your people to trust no one has done wonders for security. It sucks, but a must.

You beat me to it. Software will do whatever you tell it to do. I hate watching people mass produce mindless slop articles about AI did something weird today that it was literally programed to do. "It played a game of chess with my cat! How did that happen! No way! It's alive!"

I do blame EA, mostly. However, the last DA game was horribly mismanaged at the highest level. They changed direction too many times and didn't have a direction or an idea what they wanted. The culture war stuff became a red flag that the YouTubers farmed for content that lasted half a year. With it being disconnected from DA1 lore wise and play style, it was an abomination. What we got was pure slop. It really hurts knowing what it could have been. I loved the world setting. I played DA1 for years. EA did a warcrime against gamers.

I recall that Epstein made some spicy offers with Trump's female staff at Mar-a-Lago back before 2007. Trump kicked Epstein out and banned him. Later, Trump went to the FBI about Epstein. Needless to say, Epstein hated Trump. I'd love to know the truth of WTF is going on with everything that happened after the second conviction, including those 4 years of silence during the Biden years and Epstein's relationship with the Clintons. We do know one the Epstein's billionaire buddy did fund lawsuits against Trump. At this point, my trust levels with either party is dead. None of this has anything to do with the article. The reality of it is that you can be arrested for locking your phone. They don't need proof or reason. It's all bullsh*t. I really can't stress how people need to push back with lawsuits against this. Mind you, they do this to people they know can't afford a proper lawyer.

More things no one asked for. I remember the old days when you had to setup TCP on machines just to access an internet with no pictures. I love progress. However, this is becoming a flavor of hell.

Kinda. Dems run the big cities. Reps run everything else. It's hardly a pure red state anywhere in Texas. As for public records requests, there are people who literally file for these all day long, every single day, forever. I'd see these things come in every day. We couldn't tell if people were actually looking for something or if we were getting trolled. Finally, we started asking for money to pay for all of the time and work we did, suddenly 99.9% of the requests went away.

That trial did leave me wondering if America even has a future at this point. I try to be positive, but that bar keeps getting lowered every year. Never thought killing kids would be normalized.

It's a brave new world of endless incompetence.
