It's not a bad idea to have population caps. In a world with limited resources, this isn't a bad idea for long term plans for most nations. As a guy that still plays Alpha Centauri, I really don't want to get nerve stapled IRL.

Nah. I wouldn't say Democrats were anti-capitalist. They are very pro "Your wealth is now our wealth." I've never seen a poor Democrat in politics who didn't have a million dollar house withing a year. Same is true with both parties. However, I do find it annoying to see them pretend to be all about the "poor and needy" peasants while they spend billions on illegals and weird social welfare games with no auditing. Funny thing about that. That spending doesn't go away when your messiah leaves office. You can create debts that take decades to pay off or last forever. Both parties are guilty of spending money we don't have. Republicans spend more per term. Democrats add more overall via long term policies. Obama was not a thrifty spender. He created generation debt that we'll never pay off. At least Republicans try to save money. Democrats call that terrorism when you audit the books. Honestly, I'm not happy with both parties on this issues. However, the massive amount of fraud we're seeing happening in plain sight isn't helping. Perhaps, the solution is to criminalize investigative journalism in Cali. That should fix everything.
