Journal: SCOTUS considers 2nd Ammendment in challenge to DC gun ban

On Tuesday, the US Supreme Court will be hearing a challenge to the District of Columbia hand gun ban. The case will be the first time that SCOTUS has heard a case directly related to the Second Amendment since 1939. If the DC hand gun ban is overturned, it could clear the way for challenges to many state and federal gun control regulations. It is also a notable situation in that the president and the vice president are taking opposing sides.
