The gist of what I wanted to say is that you probably don't have to look far to find highly talented string musicians right where you are. If you google "string quartet Dallas" my wife's quartet will be one of the responses.

Interested in unknown, but accomplished classical musicians? Check out wedding musicians. My wife manages a string quartet. They play mostly weddings and events. These women all have post graduate degrees and they are excellent classical musicians. I suggest if you search wedding musicians in your area and check out their websites, you may discover some excellent classical musicians right in your backyard and they may even perform in public as themselves or as part of other groups. Almost all of them will have recordings on their websites or otherwise available.

I use my iPhone for texting many times every day. The level of automation in the spell checker can lead to some interesting words being put in the message if you don't watch what's happening when you make an error. If you have an iPhone, spend some time watching what the spell checker is doing and how to tell the phone to use or discard what the spell checker is recommending. The keyboard has many slick features especially after the firmware upgrade. I can wholeheartedly recommend the iPhone for text messaging and I find the keyboard easy to use.
