Submission + - Using business process modelling notation (BPMN)?

omz13 writes: "I've recently transistioned from doing programming work into more business-oriented work. One of the things I am involved with is Business Process Modelling, which is basically trying to undertand then formalize and document activities peformed by the business and technical people... in essence, I've moved from programming computers into programming people :-) Being a programmer at heart, I'm trying to find the best (and easiest) way to achive this. At the moment I'm leaning towards BPMN, although I find it a bit too oriented for programming systems to interact with each other, rather than what I'm currently involved with which is a process that is a mixture of people and system interactions. Have any ./ readers successfully used BPMN, or do they use something else for their Business Process Modelling? What's the best way to document and manage people-oriented business processes, with perhaps those processes being placed into workflow managemnt system at a later date?"
