Comment FICO/credit scores (Score 1) 110

Until you want to get more credit, your scores are irrelevant. Now yes it does take time to build your score back up and yes you should know why your credit score is crappy but people get to consumed with it. I see to many people posting how to remove bad credit from your reports, US has made it easy for some credit types to be removed, but your score is your score and how much you can borrow is how much you can afford to pay back. There was an ad on late night TV offer loans, Some indian reservation offering money in minutes but it was at 90% interest. Great you got your money but will never be able to pay it back. Stop buying stuff you dont need, stop buying stuff to impress people you dont care about. Stop buying things...

Comment TV golden age (Score 2) 72

Not sure its been in a golden age since cable TV changed the landscape. Now with streaming that are so many options to network programming. The quality of network programming is down to nothing. Find some hit and keep spinning off clones until they who thing tumbles down and now in the US with the move to ATSC3 over the air TV will all but disappear and will require at least a internet back channel to watch over the air programming due to the DRM being added. Our local NBC has local news starting at 4am, basically repeating the same story's until the 7am network news. Network has a few minutes of news then a 3 hours of fulff they call news. then some infotainment show, then back to 2hr of local news, back to some dateline drama, then back to a 4pm to 7pm local news regurgitating the same stories. Now 1/2hr of network news, then infotainment, then from 8-11 you have some series from the network. then 1/2hr late news and then ingto overnight whatever programming. SO at best you get 3 hours of programming, that is if you like the shows in the 8-11 window and then after the "seasson" is over your in re-runs. Hardly a golden age of TV...

Comment Re:postal letter drop (Score 1) 78

I think the question is not revenue, but expenses , Revenue is 80 billion expense is 90 Billion, 10 billion dollar loss each year... need to reduce expenses... Instead of sending out 6 people out every day to cover a area, Send 1 person out to 1 section each day, Now in reality your going to need a couple at least but no need to go to every house every day. Very VERY few people get important must handle mail every day. Now granted there will need to be some adjustments to business models, but again if you need every day delivery for your business they maybe that is a revenue stream for USPS

Comment postal letter drop (Score 2) 78

While I doubt the US could do this, there should however be an adjustment to how and when postal mail is delivered. Daily deliveries should not be needed. Once or twice a week should work for most people. For those who want next day or packages use one the other next day services. USPS should be letter only, No bulk mail, no occupant mail.
