You treat "Devops"/Agile philosophy like a buffet and choose those elements that you like and disregard anything you don't as potentially slowing you down. getting in the way, or thinking that you are "smarter" somehow and then wonder why you don't get the desired results.

Expecting "Devops" to be a panacea and the answer to every issue you face.
