Journal Journal: FTC P2P notice 1

The FTC hosted"Peer-to-Peer File-Sharing Technology: Consumer Protection and Competition Issues" workshop is in December, but public comments are due by tomorrow (Nov 15th). If you have something to say about the how P2P file sharing used today or ways it might be used in the future, get your 2cents in now. You know the RIAA/MPAA certainly will.

Journal Journal: M2 in Real Time 1

So I have been busy playing M1 and M2 lately. A lot lately. I mod at least once a week, and metamod at the minimum once a day, sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. But today it got a little weird. Usually I M2 posts that are 1 to 3 weeks old. Today, I found myself (3 times so far) M2-ing posts that had just happened. In the Wrtismo cell phone thread, only 17 slashdotters had posted, and I was already M2-ing the moderators. The Self Assembling Networks was there and it didn't have many posts yet either. I just got finished with the Toaster Oven and Games on Demand - they are at the top of today's list right now.

So what gives? Am I stuck in some kind of modding loop? Or could this be a Slash bug? I mean, this is flattering and all, but if I M2 any faster, I'll be doing it in real time!

Journal Journal: Nothing much

Nothing much to say, I put everything in the various threads. Just like to keep one open in case anyone wants to post a message.
