It would be good if you understood the spirit of what I was talking about. How many uberpatches has MS released in response to the holes a virus exploits? That is the patch or fix I am referring to. It is true I don't know what this virus exploits; it may be as you suggest unpatchable and only detectable by an AV. However, my main point was that whomever is beaten to the punch with a "fix," real or not, gets beaten in PR. It does not matter what the reality is; rather the PR spin that can be put on it will matter in the long run.
