I was going to post more or less the same. Airlines overbook flights on the assumption that a certain percentage of people are going to miss their flights. These customers are just helping that percentage.

If they (airlines) want criminal convictions for people who engage in this then we should have criminal convictions for airlines that overbook and do not have a seat for everyone that shows up, or worse when they bodily remove a passenger I say we start with the CEO facing prison time for each incident

It's alot closer to a store which sells medical cannabis and also having meth.
