Gilbert Gottfried was the original voice actor for the AFLAC duck. He created *that* voice. AFLAC's douchey head of marketing didn't like paying for it, so they fired him for some tweets and hired a guy to impersonate Gilbert for 1/10th of what they paid Gilbert. It was still the character Gilbert created. AFLAC used a contract provision to get rid of the creator and hire someone that sounded the same for a lot less. Where was the outrage from SAG/AFTRA? There was none. Just as there should be none here. That's how capitalism works folks. RIP Gilbert.

Everything from "Letitia" James is racism, racism, racism. She's a race baiter. She ran on prosecuting Trump, so gauge her qualifications and professional ethics accordingly. The thing that none of them are saying is in NYC if the management wants you out of their place of business, you're out. They can call the police, have you removed "for any reason" and "trespass" you. You are required to sign paperwork that says you understand if you come back, you will be arrested. And before you jump in and say, "they didn't sign anything," they don't have to issue the trespass, security can just kick you out if they don't like the color of pants you are wearing. They sent letters to all the law firms affected, in fact, most got 2-3 letters. The letters clearly stated the policy that if you are actively engaged in litigation against the company, no one at your firm is welcome in any of our venues. What they also do not say is that most of these firms are scumbag ambulance chasers. This is in response to these dirtbag lawyers continually filing frivolous claims against the venue -- usually when their clients are kicked out for drunken fighting and disorderly conduct. They go for fast settlements which has been costing MSG millions. MSG is a target for these "firms" and this is MSG's response to their bullshit. Go look up some of the cases these lawyers have brought against MSG if you don't believe me. One had a drunk guy spilling his beer on a guy below him. The guy below him turned around and knocked the guy out. The both sued MSG for "negligence" resulting in two settlements. I think what is being missed here is that businesses are sick and tired of these lawyers continually filing shitty lawsuits looking for quick payouts. All of the lawyers who have been kicked out acknowledged they had received the letters and decided to try to get around it. Again, you're not welcome, so why would you even try to get in? To file another frivolous suit perhaps? James Dolan could give zero fucks how much this costs -- he's a multi-billionaire. This is more about making a point and publicly shaming the ambulance chasing scum that clogs the city. You know, the lawyers.

Couple of thing for folks who do not live/work in NYC. In NYC, the manager of any business can deny service or remove anyone from their place of business for any reason. You tell them they are not welcome, if they refuse to leave or make a scene, you call the police, tell them you want the person out and trespass them. They are required to sign the trespass notice and if they come back they are arrested on the spot.

Wrong. You obviously do not live in NYC and are not a business owner. Burgers cost way more than $20. in NYC and businesses cannot get anyone to work at $15., $17. or $20./hr. I know because I own a bunch of retail businesses and pay more than our gross margins on most items for labor, not because of something I heard on MSNBC. The reason for your so-called 60% of the country living paycheck to paycheck is due to the fiscal policies of the current administration. No one was in this situation with the last administration. Facts. I'll quote the great Joe Biden, "if you're a coal miner, it's time to become a coder." That's as good as your plan to just keep raising minimum wage.
