Yes, it's Fiber gigabit to the desktop. I'm on the project planning team. 1000Base-FX cards (Netgear 621) in the machines. No shit. Unfortunately, we need to upgrade our outside connection for this to actually make a difference on the internet. Plus, if anyone from Case reads this, note that in order to increase performance, you'll want to up your input frame buffer size, otherwise you'll be dropping 70% of the packets because the network is much faster than your computer's bus.
