I can't say if they have used this a lot in the past, but I know from some computational theory classes that language analysis is really hard to do. A lot of grammar checkers that I've seen are not very good.

Maybe soon someone will create a hack to enable tethering with the new firmware. Most patches Microsoft comes out with for WGA and other things are broken quickly. I'm sure people can do the same with the iPhone.

I wonder if it is time for me to reconvert all my HD movies again into this now. It takes hours to rip them, and even more to convert them. It could be worth it if it can be higher quality at the same bitrate or same quality at a lower bitrate. Some of my movies get a little messy in the high motion areas, but I didn't have much choice if I wanted all of them to fit on the same 1.5tb drive.

I remember when your only choices of games on a mac were "that slider puzzle game" or "Photoshop." I think it would be interesting to see apple build some sort of console, but I'm not sure what sort of API they would use. Microsoft uses a DirectX like API for their console, and I'm sure Nintendo and Sony have their's. If they wanted things to only work on their console, then they would have to stay away from things like OpenGL because it would be fairly easy to emulate on a computer. However, that could be a good move to try to get producers to write multi-platform games that would work on most major systems. As for cellphone games, I don't know how many they actually produce for the iPhone. I'm sure a lot of them are from other companies.

I agree that thinking and reasoning has caused us to be more advanced than animals. Being able to cook is one of the many great things that we have been able to adapt with. I do like to bake, and some times I wonder how people came up with the recipes that exist. Some combinations of ingredients don't seem to make sense why they are together, but in the end it tastes good. Yes, our intelligence makes us human, but I think one of the first examples of the human intelligence must have been that of cooking.

After playing a game of malarki, I know the difference between men's and women's razors is more than the color of the plastic handle. The real difference is the angle of the blades.
