Journal: My veggie oil powered car

Last year, I adapted my diesel car to run on vegetable oil. I have just crossed the 12,000 mile mark running on vegetable oil, and the car is going just great. The fuel is renewable, virtually carbon neutral, locally produced and conflict free. I also use waste oil, so I'm using a waste product that nobody wants. Importantly, I've saved a pile of money in the process. A local TV station even came round to interview me. There is no longer any need for me to visit a Big Oil filling station ever again.
