And now they are going to tell me, that I must not alter the firmware (which I also bought) which is an integral part of the hardware? Take an E-Book and drop it on the flor from a height of 1 meter/3 feet and it will be damaged. Do the same with a paper book. No big damage. Paper could be folded, cut in pieces, etc. and it still works.

You could still buy "OS/2" but it is now manufactured by a different vendor (IBM sold the rights) and is called "eComStation".
