Comment Re:Wrong by law (Score 1) 601

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887323873904578571603100389138.html "Finding Snowden made harder by Russian practice on transit travelers." I hear all this Wining all over US media and find it nonsense. Crying over the fact that Evil Empires do not hand over most valuable source of information looks childish IMHO. As soon as person did not crossed transit zone of a Country there's no legal reason for authorities to demand his expel from the airport. By the contrary Secret Services are free to go anywhere they have access to and speak to whoever they need. Ain't this according to law? Me myself had been in US Boarder Control custody for 3 hours at NY JFK airport without any reason. I had all proper visas and formalities required. But still had to seat along the raws of "highly suspected"individuals. The only reason for my detention was slow local agent who couldn't explain himself to Boarder Control officer. And the latest was ready to take all due revenge from unlucky Muscovite as offended West Ukrainian descendant. Ok, I may understand that night shift was a good reason for it but nobody thought of any excuse in that case. Finally I missed my connection flight, got a headache. But was grateful for showing me what kind of Liberty preached in US. This lesson repeated one more time as I used to be frequent visitor to US customs, airports, etc. So I don't see the reason for struggling to spread democracy all over the world. It may come back in unusual manner. And who will really suffer consequences of such democratic crusade are regular Americans. Simple citizens of Smallwills across the States. Some of them are just good friends of mine.
