I am not bothering to read all that because I have heard it all from cheerleaders like you. Covid is not even the biggest cause of death in the US. 1 in 500 is a meaningless number as it shows who died WITH covid, not because of it. 8000 Americans die every day of various things, including viruses you do not even know about. Get a grip. You are #3: very bad at statistics.

This is literally the Slashdot Neo-Marxist dream. One government who controls your life through tax policy. The rich and elite are not affected because they have enough money to avoid these restrictions. I say if we want to reduce the population let's start with YOU GUYS first and go on from there.

If people were paid based on their skills then concert pianists would be making millions and typical software engineers would me making 20k. You are not super special and skillful. Lots of people can do what you do. You got lucky to live in the west where computer skills are highly valued

Here are the contributors. All of them get paid more to study climate change. The more money that gets pumped into the field, the more money they make. Literally some of them work for "The Climate Change Centre". Their careers and financial futures depend on it. If you had Microsoft engineers write a paper they would find that Azure is the most important cloud provider on the planet. If you ask Pfizer for a study, they will say COVID vaccines are the most important vaccines on the planet. The idea that scientists are above such things is ridiculous.

I am not disagreeing with you. I agree with you. The people who will attack you are the pro-COVID slashdotters out of the three categories I mention above. COVID was never a real threat. Even the CDC said most Americans already were infected because the real infection rate is 6 times the reported rate, and in the 600k dead number only a small percentage were solely due to COVID. COVID affects the old and infirm, just like all respiratory viruses. We will need to live with it, just like other respiratory viruses. "Long" COVID is just more hype to keep it going. After any respiratory infection you may have long effects.

And yeah, COVID is real and worse than other respiratory diseases, but it has been hyped up for other agendas.

The pro-COVID guys on Slashdot are mostly lazy fucking IT guys who want to use COVID as an excuse to work from home forever.

I said COVID should have been over a year ago. People are finally starting to wake up to it. You aren't going to die of COVID. You are going to die of heart disease or plain old age.
