Well the A12Z is pretty much the same as the A12X used on the 2018 iPad Pro, the difference being the Z has one extra GPU unlocked. So to sum it up: A Mac with slightly jazzed up iPad processor from 2 years ago, running benchmark IN EMULATION on a full fledged desktop OS, is faster than: Surface pro x with BESPOKE, 1yr old ARM processor (yea I know itâ(TM)s not THAT bespoke, but still) , running benchmark in NATIVE architecture on a full fledged desktop OS. Tbh itâ(TM)s more of a reflection on the failure of MS than the achievement of Apple.
