Journal Journal: Projects at Work

At work yesterday I got about 5 more projects to work on. I'm not exactly sure how big they think my plate is, but it's quite full now. I've got to say though, I'd rather be strung out busy than bored and looking for something to do. Oddly enough, Jonathan (the big boss) came in to my cube yesterday and shared - gasp - personal information about himself. I knew his having a baby would chill him out. He seems like a really nice guy actually, once you get to know him and get comfortable with

Journal Journal: Computing Lab Woes & NIS Help

And it seems that my student staff members have not shown up on time yet again, so I'm stuck in the computer lab babysitting 100 empty machines. Summer here is so slow. Luckily I've got some good projects to work on now. I have to implement Heat Self Service (our HD software) and fix iHeat. Anyone going with FrontRange Solutions might want to think twice. They have two standard responses to problems with their products. 1. Reboot your server. 2. I'm not sure what you're talking about.
