Well, sure we'd have to charge more than most locals make in a month - and more than many make in a year. But there are still plenty of customers. Wealth is rather concentrated here, but that doesn't mean there is no money. Being here is a reminder to me of the good things that a relatively uncorrupted peoples government can provide. A good education and therefore opportunity for the bulk of the populace, good healthcare, and a social system that moderates vast class inequalities. I'm not reminded because I see this, but because the lack is conspicuous. Beware those who propose smaller government and only free market solutions. They are proposing a widening of class differences. Not a pretty picture in the extreme.
