I fly 200ish flights a year so figure 70-80 nights away.

2025 was 100% hotels but 2019 was about 80% Airbnbs.

Airbnb will never get my business back. Ever. The professional scammer hosts are so good at finding a way to nail me for a fee. Iâ(TM)ve taken perfect check out video and still had to spend hours fighting fees.

Airbnb allowed making guests do it.

They lost so much money to hotels theyâ(TM)re banning hosts from requiring it.

>You can't use the TV without accepting

You have to accept the top two, but it is perfectly usable without clicking accept on the bottom three. The top two I don't believe (though I haven't double checked) do anything malicious. The bottom ones do.

It has happened under both.

Free speech includes lying.

Merit should always consider strictly value.

The $5K a year just gives you a $300 per person per visit discount. So pays itself back in 15 visits or so.

Plenty of us nerds can afford this and want to see news about this.

Garbage regulations like IP create these behemoths. If you want freedom, stop regulating monopolies into existence.

Statism creates billionaires.

My server got compromised last week by this, Slashdot is quite far behind.

There's two new exploits in the Copy Fail class that do privilege escalation everyone should be worried about on shared servers. Copy Fail 2: Electric Boogaloo (https://github.com/0xdeadbeefnetwork/Copy_Fail2-Electric_Boogaloo) and Dirty Frag (https://github.com/V4bel/dirtyfrag)

I am rather disappointed that Ubuntu sat on these LPEs for a month without releasing a fix.

Democracy is for retards.

Government did this. All of this. Government regulated so much that only a rare few can afford to compete.

This is late stage statism. Retard voters are to blame.

Like you.

As it turns out, I and a lot of other people are willing to pay a fee to avoid seeing ads, so the shows do actually get funded anyway.

I hate ads with a passion, and miss the old days of the internet where people would get mad at you for advertising.

Hahahahaha.

Grok was constantly say it was doing something that it had ZERO ability to, and I kept calling it out and it kept apologizing and then immediately doing it again.

As a guy who spend 5 figures a year on Ai, the last thing I want is that. I know Claude and ChatGPT also do it, but Grok was doing it CONSTANTLY.
