That's nothing for a job where they'll expect you to have a degree. But I'm nor surprised, there are plenty of jobs around here that even without the degree debt just wouldn't allow you to live in this area. Even some big names in science who you'd think would want top people to get shit done right pay what I consider peanuts and often only offer fixed terms. So it's pay too low to buy a home, no job security to help secure a mortgage and enough of a wage to guarantee you'll need to pay your uni debt. It's no wonder so many good devs go down to London to fight over jobs in finance.

It still depends. There are almost certainly moves being done for free which shouldn't be done in the way they're being done but it's hard to catch them but if you funnel it all through an Internet business it's easy to find violations.

You say that until one of these guys runs into your vehicle and you get nothing because he's not running a proper business. A lot of rules seem stupid when everything runs smoothly but they aren't there for when things run smoothly.

Once you make it a business transaction yes it should. If it's just a friend that you give some cash that's not a business. But if it's a friend you pay through an Internet service to pick your stuff up then it's a business transaction regardless if they're a friend or not. Likewise if you had a friend that can do it you probably wouldn't download an app and hire them through that.

Laptops are hardly lighter just because the drive is removed. The DVD drive weight is nothing compared to the battery. While the battery is obviously more important that doesn't take away from the fact the DVD drive barely adds anything on top of that.

Even if that number is correct that goes by google's definition. I'd say many of the apps in their own store are harmful because they ask for too many permissions and you have little you can do about it thanks to google's all or nothing approach to permissions.

I'd actually be more likely to believe it's a desperate US or UK agency trying to prove why they need to take our freedoms away than China. There's so much anti-china stuff out there. Why pick github? But as well apparently British airways and slack are being attacked. What would China have against British Airways? Something doesn't make quite make sense.

Everyone looked forward to getting all of sega's great games on any system when they got out of the hardware business. But unfortunately they seemed to lose all their talent with the hardware and just resorted to knocking out Sonic games and the odd Crazy Taxi game. At his best Sonic was never that good. You can't maintain a company with Sonic games.

That's just stupid. Technology can replace jobs. Saying that just because factories didn't take jobs away from farmers forgets that the reason for that is because you're changing different jobs but they require humans to do them. The point of using robots and computers is to reduce the number of people required. And no, not everyone can be a programmer. If they could then programming would be a minimum wage job.

I'm not sure why anyone would contribute to Google maps. Who works for one of the world's largest corporations for free?
