so if I were to buy a piece of your software, lose or scratch the disc, then burn a copy off of a friend, you think that I would somehow be ripping you off?
You should get paid for licenses not for copies of the software.

What about this scenario:
I have the cd, but want the songs in mp3 format. suppose that I have a slow computer but broadband so that it is quicker for me to dl the mp3 than it is for me to rip it. So, to save time, I dl a copy of a file that I already purchased. this is immoral? pheh.
