Journal ncc74656's Journal: Michael Moore has another fan 18

(originally posted here)

Seen at LGF...guess who said this:

"It never occurred to us that the commander in chief of the American forces (Bush) would leave 50,000 citizens in the two towers to face those horrors alone at a time when they most needed him because he thought listening to a child discussing her goat and its ramming was more important than the planes and their ramming of the skyscrapers. This had given us three times the time needed to carry out the operations, thanks be to God..."

Osama bin Laden

Do the math.

  • all I can think is... time to nuke the entire middle east. seek out those that practice islam and kill them all. 1 billion 2 billion? however many it takes. thank you for reigniting my hatered.
    • Is islam the problem, or is immoderate religion the problem? Or the oil, which certainly exascerbates? Wouldn't we be better off without the oil and all the different immoderate religions?
      • let's try it my way first
        • Hasn't your way already been tried, for how many thosands of years?
          • I have a plan. A vision if you will. Brought to me by God. In this I see the entire Middle East as a smooth piece of glass with large black straws in particular spots. The native human population are merely shadows now and Evangical Christians are working the straws. They die ever 15 minutes from the radiation. Funny part is the straws need no human intervention.
  • Michael Moore thinks Bush is a moron. (m implies b)

Osama Bin Laden ALSO thinks that Bush is a moron. (o implies b.)

    So, since b = b, m = o? Especially since B is false?

That's not even tenable. Much likelier is that, quite simply b is true (or effectively true) and both m and o recognize that.

To put it very simply: Letting Bush stay in office means the terrorists win. They don't hate freedom. They don't really care about Bush. They have a goal of correcting a percieved injustice in Israel, and we a
    • Man, I really don't know where to begin with this.
Regardless of what you think about Bush's IQ...

If you wish to make terrorists your 'brother' that is certainly your prerogative. Realize that I will then support your death with his. Not a threat, a promise.

What do the terrorists want? A Palestinian state? Fine. 'Palestine' can return to its original borders. Oh wait, it never had any state. It was part of the Ottoman Empire. When Jews started buying, that's right, buying land, they stated their de
      • But Kerry should know that turning tail doesn't win wars. That coward ran after 3 wounds and then blamed men like my father for war crimes they didn't commit.

Y'know, I had a more detailed rebuttal here, but this statement alone proves that you're not caring to think or treat anyone who disagrees with you as a respectable human being.

The man won a Silver Star, a Bronze Cross, and three purple hearts--regardless of how shaky the awards for the latter three may or may not have been--and when he got out, he

In what way? I have a deep problem with the charges Kerry leveled and how they don't jibe with what most Viet Nam vets reported. Sure, the war was a bad war and carried about improperly. I blame McNamara principally. But we're talking about a dude who was meeting with North Viet Namese reps in violation of the Logan Act and part of a group that was plotting to kill U.S.
          • As for serving the country honorably since then, his votes against defense and intelligence don't exactly endear me to him either.

Unless you're a citizen of Massachusets, it hasn't been his job to represent your issues, much less to plesae you.

Yes, I call chasing down a wounded teenager and gunning him to death cowardice.

The Navy either disagrees with you or disagrees with your interpretation of what happened on a battlefield that neither you nor I were at.

Vietnam WAS horrific. It WAS something tha
            • You're right, but not for the reason you think. We are unable to negoiate with any arabic extremist group not because of their faults, but because of our own. Eight years simply isn't long enough for major diplomacy to work, especially if we keep turning our back on the promisies we make.

Every President from Carter to Clinton tried to negotiate with Arafat in good faith. Bush is the first one to not do so. I would submit that it has helped the Palestinians immeasurably. There is a real struggle for d
              • Please, insert witty Halliburton joke here...

                Ok.

"I'm sorry, Mr. Vice President, but what you did was a felony. We're going to have to impeach you and toss you in Levenworth. Please don't take it personally; we're just obeying the law."

See? Even if your opponent is scum, you can still smile and phrase your indictments in a polite fashion. :)

                • When did Dick Cheney commit a felony?

I mean, I know Perjury, Suborning Perjury and Obstruction of Justice are all felonies.

But as we learned with the last President, those are private matters.

                  Can't we just move on?

I mean, Kerry obviously violated both the Logan Act and the Uniform Code of Military Justice and it looks like he didn't get an honorable discharge until after Carter forgave his dishonorable discharge, but hey, he's a viable candidate, even if he is a tool of the North Viet Namese.
                  • Note:

I know that Cheney did not commit any felonies. Maybe a "high misdemeanor", but that'd be it.

And, while I could point out that a man who stood up to his own military commanders to do what he thought was right is exactly the kind of moral character we need in the White House, that's not the point I'm making.

Regardless of what we feel about The Other Guy, we can all be civil when we talk about him. Let's us focus on a message and not the messengers.
      • After the state was created, Palis were coaxed to leave and go to what is now Jordan and Egypt and Syria to help fight the Jews. What happened was Israel handed their hats to them. These 'refugees' are still in camps. Why? The Jordanians et al. don't want them!

Neither does Saudi Arabia [israelnationalnews.com] -- part of the "et al."

    • One other half-serious joke I say about Kerry is this. If you (Kerry) think we shouldn't have gone in and removed Saddam the way we did, after waiting 12 years with broad international pressure, why are you anxious to remove Bush after only 8?? Give the negotiators (Congress) more time!!! Let the inspectors (Supreme Court) poke around here and there to make sure he is doing the right thing! Hee Hee...

As I've stated in other JE, I agree that there is no logic in dealing with a good number of these people
