Journal ncc74656's Journal: GIs Boycott 'Kabul for Kerry' 9
About 60 American expatriates in Afghanistan held a fund-raiser today for Sen. John Kerry's presidential campaign, the Associated Press reported.
Much of the "Kabul for Kerry" crowd was, predictably, "aid workers," i.e., employees of left-wing nongovernmental organizations subsidized by money confiscated from you by the IRS.

The most telling detail was buried eight paragraphs down in the article:
"None of the thousands of U.S. military personnel based in Afghanistan to hunt for al-Qaida and Taliban rebels turned up for Friday's event."
In all fairness, I'm willing to admit there's a law on the books that keeps GIs away from pretty much all political events...but even if there weren't, I suspect there would be a blizzard in hell before they would turn out for a traitor like Kerry anyway.

There is also this authentic photograph [snopes.com], though all that really shows is that Kerry and Fonda were at some antiwar rally together, which isn't particularly surprising or controversial given that they are both known for this sort of involvement and this was two years prior to Fonda's offensive actions which earned her the 'Hanoi Jane' nickname.

Ok simp. There's a world of difference between together and at the same time, you make it seem like they were holding hands and making out under the bleachers.
I attended a Yes concert in Binghampton NY in 1977, also in attendence were 3 people who are now judges, 148 wife beaters 15 child molesters, 1 murderer and an untold number of christians.
Get the point,

Er, what the hell are you talking about? The post I replied to, by ncc74656, stated that Kerry was a traitor for his associations with Fonda.
I was asking ncc74656 to back up eir claim that Kerry was associated with Fonda. That's what I meant when I said that "all that really shows is that Kerry and Fonda were at some antiwar rally together".
