Comment iPhone? (Score 3, Interesting) 242

Isn't the iPhone a Newton, essentially? And I know a lot of Slashdotters are going to say "no you idiot it's a phone and doesn't have handwriting recognition and X and Y and Z!" but come on people that's not what I mean. The iPhone is a little, handheld computer, yes? It also has voice-communication built in, which we call a phone. So it doesn't have handwriting recognition. That might actually be a good thing! Actually maybe it is a lot harder to make apps for the iPhone? (I don't know.)

He finds that eBay, PayPal and Bank of America combined account for 63% of the active phishing sites. Amusingly, he also reveals that Yahoo! has a nasty habit of hosting phishing sites that harvest...you guessed it...Yahoo! credentials!

Sounds like there is a lot of news about Sealand since my last reading about them on /. and in Wired a few years ago. Posting this before finding out if those anonymous server guys survived the fire before trading my Colorado Freemen money for a platform that might not be that good of a deal any more :)
