Ok, I'm in the middle of playing "Doom 3". I have to admit... besides being interested to see how cool it looked I wasn't all that interested in playing it, but the game is truly awesome. I just payed off my damn student loan from my failed attempt at school from which I got absolutely nothing to show for it! hehe Ok actually it gets payed off on the 10th, but I scheduled the payment today. It was a reasonably small amount, but it sorta took low priority and I've been paying it for about 3 years and 3 months. Jeez, didn't realize it was that long. Good fricken' riddance.

It's been so long since I've had a computer upgrade that I'm going nuts. Yeah, my AMD 2100+ has actually done well and lasted for quite awhile, but games are really starting to run like crap. My ATI 9700 isn't the fastest in the world, but it at least supports the newer features like PS2.0 and such. And it actually holds up in games still, but dammit I need an AMD 3000+. Ok I want a 64 bit, but who the hell knows when the 64bit version of windows will ever come out and i'm sure they'll just make

Welp I've had bad luck with WD. Well not totally me, but my mother ALWAYS buys WD drives. I think because they tend to be the one on sale all the time here at Best Buy or Circuit City. Anyways... I think 3 or 4 of the WD drives she has gotten have failed. For some reason she still thinks there are more problems with Maxtor and others... go figure.

Just sitting around waiting for Doom 3, yup. I'm not as excited about Doom 3 as I am about Half-life 2 though. Mostly because I was a little young and missed the doom craze, but I came in on the quake craze and soon after half-life. But it's also easier to be excited about a game you know is coming out in about 12 days. I'm pretty sure that HL2 will be out this year. I didn't really believe it would be out Sept. 30th of last year. I was hopeful, but I didn't get my hopes that far up.
