It is very interesting that this new kind of new memory chip stores information by melting and freezing crystals. I would like to try it when the devices come out, however, I have the following concerns about it: 1. Will it be oversensitive to heat variance?and will it affect its ability to store informations correctly 2. I'm afraid it's gonna be very expensive, since it's a brand new and modern technology. But anyway, I would like to give it a try if I can afford it and I'm quite excited about it.:-)

well I don't know how the banks in the United States handle those transactions, but back in Asia, from where I came, once a transaction needs to take place, the bank will send you an SMS including a temporary PIN. If the PIN is not used within 5 minutes, it would expire automatically. Also,if the transaction involves an large amount of money(over $1500), your personal financial advisor from the bank will call you directly to verify. So far, I haven't heard many big losses from the online trasactions in my home country, or at least not reported. I assume it means the way our banks handle the transactions is practical.

Yes, downloading music pieces illegally has long been a issue that bothers the whole music industry. In some countries, nearly everybody downloads music from online resources illegally. However, it is hard or we can say impossible to stop them from doing that, because everybody loves free stuff. If you can download music for free, why bother purchase it from itunes? However, I do think the "Three-Strike" Rule should help reduce the illegal downloading from online. But as I have mentioned, it will take a VERY LONG TIME to eliminate illegal downloading and actually, it might take forever.

Whether Google in this case is a hypocrite on Net neutrality is a controvercial issue.Even if Google Voice was wrong in blocking certain phones, what AT&T says was not credible enough because inevitably, the existence of Google Voice had attracted a big number of potential users from AT&T and other telephone companies. Since Google Voice is a free service, I think it is involuntary that Google Voice has to block certain phones; otherwise, not only Google Voice will probably need to bear the loss in operation, but AT&T and other companies will suffer from a larger loss of customers because the no limitation on calls will make more customers choose to use Google Voice. Therefore, I think it is totally unnecessary for AT&T to accuse Google Voice of being a "hypocrite."

I should say it'll be much better for your human body's health if you can fall asleep without taking medications. Just try to relax before you go to sleep and take a hot shower. According to studies, eating beans on a regular basis and work out as often as possible can also prevent Alzheimer's Disease. Normally, after working out, I usually have a better quality of sleep at night, so I guess doing physical exercises is a key way to improve our sleep and therefore, keep us away from Alzheimer's Disease.

Submission + - AT&T calls Google a hypocrite on Net neutralit (cnet.com) 1

NotBornYesterday writes: "AT&T is accusing Google of being a hypocrite when it comes to Net neutrality because it blocks certain phone calls on its Google Voice service. "By openly flaunting the call-blocking prohibition that applies to its competitors, Google is acting in a manner inconsistent with the spirit, if not the letter, of the FCC's fourth principle contained in its Internet Policy Statement," Robert Quinn, AT&T's senior vice president focusing on federal regulation, said in a statement.

Google blocks certain calls to avoid high costs due to a practice known as traffic pumping. Rural carriers can charge connection fees that are about 100 times higher than the rates that large local phone companies can charge. In traffic pumping, they share this revenue with adult chat services, conference-calling centers, party lines, and others that are able to attract lots of incoming phone calls to their networks.

Google responded by saying that the rules AT&T refers to don't apply to Google Voice for several reasons. Google Voice is a software application that offers a service on top of the existing telco infrastructure, it is a free service, and it is not intended to be a replacement for traditional telephone service. In fact, the service requires that users have a landline phone or a wireless phone."
