What if the developers of the popular torrent software were to code in something that randomly connected to trackers of high risk torrents? Not to actually download anything but just as a spoof to waste the time of the RIAA.
If a whole mass of people were to do this, wouldn't it be some sort of deterrent to the RIAA, or would it just mean more letters and more people unknowing thinking they need to pay up?
