Unix groups suck.

Well, although there are things that could be improved, Unix groups are mostly OK. The problem is that modifying groups are done at a system level. If the user could at any time create a new group and populate it with the users they want, lot's of problems would be solved. (Oh, and automatically across all hosts in the company of course, not just on one host)

Now this requires a call to an admin every time. And that sucks.
