While many points raised by the respectable, albeit paranoid FL certainly hold a couple grams of water, I would hesitate to use the word slave. Sheep seems the more correct term, as slaves are forced to do their masters' will. Sheep are willingly lead through rocky terrain and will walk blindly into the dangers inherent with that so long as they are promised greener pastures on the other side.
The collective "We" you speak of is not a rabble, but a flock. They are mislead by the master, not thrown in irons and forced to do that which he is either too lazy or too proud to do. You claim you can see what others are too blind to see. You would whisper demagoguery and and paranoid delusion to the shackled sheep. You rant about recognizing the sociopaths around us and the sociopathic behaviors we all possess. You are a victim of the very hypocrisy and insanity you decry in others. You want to wake up? You want to be free? Then do not think on the institutions that bind you and act without regard for the rules. If you would rebel simply because you are a slave, then you remain a slave still, bound by an opposite bond to the one you would cast off; you would be as the stubborn ram who defies the shepherd, not a slave, to be sure, but a sheep still.
The true test of your freedom is if you can look on society and can say that you are not a part of the system at all, only a mere observer walking in the midst of sheep and swine. Do not do something simply because the rules tell you not to. Do what thou wilt, for a truly free man or woman is neither sheep, shepherd, nor ram.
