Let me start out by saying that as a Geek I am inherently skeptical. I am also agnostic. I never assume any level of certainty and when most people would reply "Yes" to a question, I am likely to reply "most likely." I shouldn't let someone trying to troll get a reaction out of me, and I despise people that go around on the internet talking about their ePeen and how awesomes they are at teh sex. With all of that said I am VERY confident, borderline cocky with what I do. I'm not even sure if it is that I am that good or if the average guy is just really bad. One girl was surprised that I knew the clitoris existed and what to do with it (She was 25). In conclusion maybe Geeks aren't good lovers, but the average guy is quite bad!

I've actually had lots of discussions with women, and smarter guys that are caring tend to be better, and I would say those attributes apply to Geeks.

Since I still have to support Windows XP systems, I use what will work with them. I also don't like to have to install any additional run-times. You can accomplish almost anything with a combination of Group Policy and Visual Basic scripts. I would also highly recommended AutoIt, which i find to be a very helpful tool, especially when trying to automate anything that has a GUI. Finally I would note that what you used to MAN, now just look up on MSDN. I just use google as follows: "msdn [terms]".

If you jailbreak there is an app called My3G that will make apps (FaceTime) think you are on wifi. Also the latest version of Skype has video support over 3G.

I have a Verizon FIOS residential connection and just took a speed test. I have their middle tier. Many people are not fortunate to have it available in their area though.

I've had the opposite experience at Best Buy... Back when Guitar Hero 5 came out the best price I could find was on the Walmart website. Walmart would not match their own online price. Best Buy on the other hand matched the Walmart online price I showed them on my phone.

Actually as long as you configure the provided router behind your "different" router and make sure their subnets are different you can still use video on demand and the interactive guide. I had to specifically request Verizon provision the Ethernet on the ONT since they prefer/default to just using coax - at least in my area.
