Re:Many "software engineering" books are trash. (Score 1)

As long as there are boxes, lines and a legend that give me a good visual representation of a software systems's architecture, I'm happy. I'd rather be spending my time eating cheerios than learning about different shapes, arrows and little stick people. Alas, I find that I'm forced to learn it because our company loves complying with standards.
