The anti-MS stuff has the fact that MS has a near monopoly on non apple hardware. Regardless of which browser you choose MS gets to pull their anticompetitive stuff. You can turn it off and then it pops back up with some update or it'll pop up and be a different setting to get rid of it in edge. Hell one time it almost forced me with a window one couldn't easily close. At least FF comes from a nonprofit that pushes privacy and web standards. It's easy to forgive it on a mishap like this especially when every other browser does the same.

I guess that would mean all the left-wing politicians who say big tech should do more to censor people are also secretly right-wing?

You mean the dems/libs? Most of em can be considered rightwing yes. Socioliberal sure but most of american politics is slanted right economics wise and has become somewhat crony capitalist in nature. Consequently whenever an idea is put forward by these people that plays lipservice to economically leftwing ideas it tends to do so mostly in a way that puts a bandaid on the consequences rather than address the cause. For example. Don't touch the disproportionate profits made from healthcare and insurance. Throw taxpayers money at it instead! Otherwise it'll never pass!

As we can see from the markets big tech has no problem making decisions that lose them money.

Like has been the case with bond buybacks to satisfy stockowners with money that could help the company longterm, fund r&d and boost wages? I wonder who deregulated those? Hmmm

So we'll see I guess. I don't expect it to go well for Rumble tho if only due to google's clout and past examples of justice failures like Microsoft simply waiting out the bankruptcy of their suing competition in court.

Isn't Venezuela's gov owned share of the economy notably smaller than a few successful European countries if we go by gov expenditure as a percentage of gdp and wasn't it shrinking due to privatisations by the current regime (in the worse way possible by handing it to political friends as the Venezuelan regime is like most south american governments quite corrupt) tho notably focused on oil compared to those other economies. Additionally i believe a good few of Venezuela's billions were withheld by the UK following the sanctions making it particularly hard to respond to the sudden drop in price

I think it's reasonable to question BLM's tactics. Defund the police IMO is an incredibly stupid slogan. The goal should be about creating first responders for certain situations where a police presence is not necessary.

You're forgetting that police use up a ridiculously huge and disproportionate budget in a bunch of places. Whether it's due to unrestricted overtime or what have you, the fact that they 're unionised whilst carrying a gun at all times or what have you. The budget for those first responders has to come from somewhere and lowering police funds is exactly what's needed for that in those places

Wake me up when it's over.

Ah yes!. Just start competing with Apple and Google's monopsonies. Why didn't anyone ever think of that! You genius you
