I agree with all of the things you listed. The interface is horrible and their prediction algorithms seem to be "list and recommend everything". Shows that I gave a thumbs down still show up on every category as recommendations for me. Add in the fact that as a Canadian subscriber, the choices are severely limited and I already pulled the plug a few days ago. Sure it's cheap, but it's a bunch of junk documentaries about nazis and aliens. Ain't nobody got time for that.

I take backdoor to mean an undocumented thing that allows the developers to access something that the end user isn't supposed to be aware of. So by that definition it would be intentional yes. It may not be malicious in nature, or may even be considered an inside joke or easter egg, or maybe I am paranoid.

Of the people that I know that still use Facebook at all, at least 90% of them admit to just using the Messenger App. The ones that still go to the webpage tell me they just go to creep other peoples pictures and never post anything themselves.
