As President of CPEC [cpec.org], Michael P. Meotti has integrated technology into the Council's activities. Connecticut magazine named www.cpec.org to its "Top 50 Web Sites in Connecticut" and Mass High Tech recognized it as a "Pick of the Week." CPEC's City Scan project has won a "MOBY", a national award for mobile computing technology, and national web-based media coverage for its innovative use of technology to improve community quality of life.

Mr. Meotti chairs the Connecticut Economic Conference Board. The Board advises the Governor and General Assembly on the direction of the state's economy. He also serves on the Governor's Council on Technology and Economic Competitiveness.
