As always, there are some seriously flawed views on education and the job market in these replies.
I question whether some of the degrees people have "earned" on here actually exist. "Network Engineering" degrees, did they come from an online school? Or do you mean a degree in in Computer Science with an emphasis on networking? Also a degree in Computer Information Science, Computer Decision Sciences, or Digit Arts and Sciences is *not* a degree in Computer Science.
Finally whoever says "programmers" (I doubt anyone calls them this nowadays, its always Software Developer or Engineer) don't make a fair amount of money is nuts. /rant
