The thing about all the trendy new sexual types - gay, transgender, lesbian, asexual, pornaddict, etc is that they have less reproductive potential - none in some cases. Despite the deeply offensive "racewashing", i really enjoyed The Witcher series. I will express my displeasure with CDPR by making sure never to buy a retail copy of any of their products ever again. (Will still buy 2nd hand of course) I also really enjoyed the Expanse. It takes a looooong time to get going, but series 2 is awesome, 3 is very good, 4 is crap.

As the current giants of the internet media gradually make it impossible for a large part of their audience to use their service (due to being unable to post completely reasonable political / social thoughts), i suspect they will be replaced by new sites that allow both sides of an issue to equally have their say. Having put some thought into just how much censorship is correct, i decided that the old ogrish forums had it just right - zero censorship for anything apart from pedophilia (and zero tolerance on that). These days i would add doxxing to what is unacceptable, and specific criminal threats should not be censored but should be reported so that an evidence trail can be built and local law enforcement notified if serious.

There is "petty drug crime" and "petty drug crime". Some people can buy and sell drugs for decades without any ripoffs or bad hassles. Other people kill each other over $20 of weed or crack. The drugs are not the problem, the problem is the actions of some of the people using / dealing them. People in the posh areas are capable of maintaining their drug habits without anyone getting killed, so their drug use causes far less social harm than the people who kill each other over smudged puma, and who are hoping to end every deal with the drugs AND the money.

I have a theory as to why time and space/energy seem to be quantized. Imagine that you are a 1 dimensional creature that lives on the center (zero) line of a Sine wave. You would only be able to perceive the waveform when it crossed over the centerline, so to you the wave would appear as regular quantized blips. The blips that you perceive whenever the wave crosses the zero point are actually part of a waveform, but your 1 dimensional creature does not perceive enough dimensions to see the waveform, just its zero crossings. So to extrapolate, what seems to you to be a quantized value may actually be a waveform in a higher dimension that you can not perceive.
